Terms of Service

1.1 Purpose of the Terms

Welcome to ED4ND Limited (“ED4ND”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ED4ND platform, including our website (currently at www.ed4nd.com), mobile applications, and all related features and services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which may be updated by us from time to time.

1.2 Acceptance of Terms

By using the Platform or any of our Services—including donating, starting a fundraiser, withdrawing funds, or engaging with any content—you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. Depending on your location, you may be contracting with different ED4ND entities as we expand. For now, you are contracting with ED4ND Limited, registered in Nigeria.

1.3 Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

If you use the Platform in Nigeria or other jurisdictions as we expand, you agree that any dispute or claim relating to ED4ND will be resolved through binding arbitration, not in court, and you waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or jury trials (where legally permitted). Please review the Dispute Resolution section for more details.

Definitions

• Account: A unique account created by a user to access and utilize ED4ND’s Services.

• Affiliates: Any entity controlling, controlled by, or under common control with ED4ND.

• Beneficiary: The person or entity for whom a fundraiser is conducted. Donor: Any person or entity that contributes funds to a fundraiser.

• Fundraiser: A campaign initiated to raise funds for an educational purpose or Beneficiary.

• NPO: Any non-profit or educational institution eligible under applicable laws.

• Organizer: A person or entity who initiates and manages a fundraiser.

• Platform: All online services provided by ED4ND, including web, mobile, and related software.

• Profile: User-generated page or feature to share fundraising activity or interests.

• Services: All features, functionalities, and tools provided by ED4ND.

• Services Content: All content/materials provided by ED4ND, excluding User Content.

• Software: The proprietary software and applications provided by ED4ND.

• Third Party Resources: Any websites, content, or resources provided by entities other than ED4ND, including scholarships, volunteer, and job opportunities. ED4ND does not guarantee or take responsibility for the accuracy, legality, or outcome of any third-party opportunities listed. Users interact with these at their own risk.

• Transaction Fee: Fees charged by ED4ND or payment processors for processing donations.

• Transfers: The process of moving funds raised to a Beneficiary’s designated account.

• User: Any person or entity accessing or using the Platform, including Organisers, Donors, and Beneficiaries.

• User Content: Any content or information posted by Users on the Platform.

The Services We Provide

• 3.1 Description

  ED4ND provides a Platform for individuals, groups, or institutions to create and manage fundraisers focused on educational needs and to donate to these causes. Additionally, ED4ND aggregates and lists third-party educational opportunities, scholarships, volunteer, and job listings. These are for informational purposes only and ED4ND is not responsible or liable for the outcome or accuracy of any third-party offers.

• 3.2 Our Role and Limitations: ED4ND acts solely as a technology provider and facilitator for fundraising and informational listings. We are not a financial institution, bank, payment processor, charity, or professional advisor. We do not solicit donations for ourselves or on behalf of others and do not guarantee the success or outcome of any fundraiser, opportunity, or listing.

• 3.3 Modification, Suspension, or Termination: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform or any Service at any time, for any reason, without liability. Account Creation and Eligibility.

• 4.1 Registration: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining up-to-date details. Our Privacy Policy and these Terms govern your information.

• 4.2 Third-Party Payment Processors: Donations are processed via third-party payment processors. You may be required to accept their terms. Inaccurate, false, or misleading information may result in account suspension or termination.

• 4.3 Age Restrictions: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or organize a fundraiser. Minors may be beneficiaries but cannot directly use the Platform.

• 4.4 Security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and secure.

Payment Processors ED4ND does not hold funds or process payments directly. Donations are processed by third-party payment providers. By using the Platform, you agree to the terms and privacy policies of these providers. ED4ND is not responsible for payment delays, failures, or errors resulting from third-party processors.

User Responsibilities

• 6.1 Organizers: You must provide accurate information about your fundraiser and only use funds for the stated purpose. Updates should be posted for transparency. You must comply with all applicable laws and obtain necessary permissions for any personal data shared.

• 6.2 Donors: You are responsible for understanding how your donations will be used. Donations are made at your own risk. ED4ND is not liable for any misuse of funds by Organizers or Beneficiaries..

• 6.3 Third-Party Listings: ED4ND aggregates scholarships, jobs, and volunteer opportunities from external sources. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee any third-party listing and are not responsible for any actions, disputes, or losses arising from engagement with any third-party provider. It is your responsibility to verify the legitimacy of such opportunities.

• 6.4 Taxes Organisers and Beneficiaries: are responsible for any tax obligations related to funds received, Transfers, Refunds & Holds Transfers: ED4ND will use reasonable efforts to facilitate timely transfer of funds, subject to proper information being provided and payment processor functionality.

• Refunds: Refunds are at ED4ND’s sole discretion, typically only in cases of fraud or legal obligation.

• Holds: ED4ND may place holds on funds, accounts, or transactions if there is suspicion of fraud, non-compliance, or legal requirements.

• Prohibited Activities You agree not to use the Platform for: Illegal, fraudulent, or misleading activities Fundraisers or content that violate laws or third-party rights Violence, hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or exploitation Unlawful investment, gambling, or pyramid schemes.

Distribution or sale of goods/services outside of legitimate fundraisers ED4ND reserves the right to remove any fundraiser, listing, or content, and to ban users at its discretion.

Content Moderation We may remove or disable any content, fundraiser, or account that violates these Terms or is reported as inappropriate or illegal. Users are encouraged to report violations via provided Platform tools.

Fees

• No Platform Fee: ED4ND does not charge to start or maintain a fundraiser.

• Transaction Fees: A fee may be charged by payment processors on each donation.

• Other Fees: Additional or recurring fees may be applied for certain payment or fundraising methods, and you will be informed accordingly.
